In many occasions he was critical of Hamas and its being part of the Oslo scheme, without explicitly admitting it.

The same goes for the M.B.s. He was critical of their effort to win the approval from Washington.

While he could be considered pro-Islamist, I never detected a sectarian streak in his comments.

I agree that his position towards the Syrian uprising is to be applauded.Tony Sayeghnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30874880.post-47479368675162916082012-04-11T13:17:28.599-07:002012-04-11T13:17:28.599-07:00Yasser Za'atra is great on Syria, Lousy Arab k...Yasser Za'atra is great on Syria, Lousy Arab keeps accusing him of sectarianism (anti shia ) funny since there is no sectarian tone in his writings except criticizing Iran and Hizbullah for their support for Assad. The Syrian revolution exposed the hypocrisy of the pro palestinian factions , if you criticize Hizbullah you are sectarian (same tactics zionists use with Antisemitism accusation for anyone criticizing Israel) Irony is that the sectarians in this situation are Iran and Hizbullah , they stand by Assad the Allawite and oppose Saddam the sunni to death (although Saddam and Assad were 2 faces of the same coin)Zarathustrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00629068403941796889noreply@blogger.com
