IOF troops kidnap Palestinian human rights activist

"NABLUS, (PIC)-- IOF soldiers on Thursday kidnapped the Palestinian human rights activist Ahlam Jawher, 30, at the Hawara roadblock at the entrance to Nablus while she was traveling outside the city.

Jawher, hailing from the Hawara village, is one of the activists in the field of human and prisoners' rights and was not arrested before.

Ahrar center for prisoners' studies denounced the recent spate of IOF kidnappings that round up scores of Palestinian citizens on daily basis in various West Bank areas.

In Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus city, the IOF troops kidnapped a Palestinian youth at dawn Thursday after ransacking his family home.

The soldiers searched other houses in the camp looking for "wanted activists" but failed to arrest any of them.

In Ramallah, the IOF troops also kidnapped a student, who was recently released from PA jails while the PA security in the West Bank rounded up two other young men in Nablus and Ramallah."
