Zahhar: Hamas will never waive the list of prisoners in exchange for Shalit

"GAZA, (PIC)-- Dr. Mahmoud Al-Zahhar, a prominent Hamas leader, stated Monday that any talks in the next stage about Israeli captive soldier Gilad Shalit will not witness any waiver on the list of prisoners' names submitted by the Movement, pointing out that this file is separate from the truce issue and has its own requirements which Israel should fulfill.

In a political meeting with intellectuals organized by the Hamas information office, Dr. Zahhar underlined that the core of the prisoner swap deal with Israel is the Palestinians who received life sentences or spent long years in prison.

The Hamas leader also underscored that if Israel wants to close this file, it has to apply three steps, first......."
