Break-Their-Legs-Abul-Gheit Declares New Rules for Passage of Aid Convoys to Gaza

"CAIRO, (PIC)-- Egyptian foreign minister Ahmed Abul Ghait has lashed out at the organizes of the aid convoys to the Gaza Strip and set new rules by which those convoys could be allowed to enter Gaza through Egyptian territory.

Speaking in Washington on Friday, Abul Ghait said that assistance destined for Gaza should be handed to the Egyptian Red Crescent [which means that the aid would sit in El-Arish and rot or spoil as has happened repeatedly before, and the Palestinians would never see it!] that would in turn hand it to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

The measure blocks any future convoys such as Lifeline from heading directly to the Strip to deliver the relief material.

The Egyptian chief diplomat said that his country would never allow once against the "farce" that accompanied the entry of the Lifeline convoy members into the Egyptian territory and their "aggressive" acts including damaging utilities in El-Arish harbor. Abul Ghait said that the convoy members provoked Egypt and tried to impose their will on its lands.

Egyptian security forces brutally assaulted the convoy members in El-Arish for demanding access into Gaza with all accompanying relief materials and vehicles. Cairo blocked the entry of almost a quarter of the vehicles saying that it should be coordinated with Israel."
