Don't forget Tony , little over a 100 years after Beethoven died , Germany tried to conquer the world , wiped out Millions of Jews, Gypsies, Gays and Communists and destroying their country and killing 0ver 11 Million Germans in a war that killed close to 10s of Millions of humans :)
That still does not take away from this example of German genius. Enjoy it Zarathustra; I remember that you mentioned seeing Von Karajan in Berlin conducting this.
