Dweik: I am not afraid of any arrest threats, and I will be assuming my duties

"DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- Dr. Aziz Dweik, the speaker of the Palestinian legislative council (PLC) [What a joke!], said Wednesday that there are indirect threats to arrest him, stressing that he does not fear these threats and will remain assuming his duties [What are those duties, Mr. Speaker?? And how did you assume them while you and fellow MPs were in Israeli prisons? Get real and wake up! Stop playing this "elected government" make-believe game.] until the elections of a new council.

In a press statement to the Jordanian Al-Sabeel newspaper, Dr. Dweik affirmed that the Palestinian Authority’s security apparatuses had arrested his office director three times since he was released from Israeli jails and told him that there were cells reserved for him and me.
He added that he is not afraid of such threats because his legitimacy is based on a solid constitutional ground, noting that the former PLC stayed for 10 years and kept its authorities without transferring them to any side....."
