"Deputy Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz raised "strong concerns" on Thursday during his meeting with senior U.S. officials in Washington over the administration's recent diplomatic overtures to Iran, which many believe is seeking nuclear weapons.
According to his spokeswoman, Mofaz told U.S. leaders to be "firm" with Iran over its contentious nuclear program.
