Hamas orders the PA to release 130 of its members from jail

"Nablus - Ma'an – The Hamas movement on Tuesday warned the Palestinian Authority against arresting its members in the West Bank city of Nablus.

Hamas accused the Palestinian security department of holding leaders of Hamas, following a meeting. The movement issued the following statement: "we have run out of patience, these actions have exceeded the scope of understanding, they are both barbaric and insulting."

Hamas also blamed President Abbas for the arrests and shouldered full responsibility with him for the situation in which Hamas leaders are living in jail.

Hamas demanded the immediate release of their members, which it said numbered 130, from Palestinian prisons.

"Fatah is at war with 60% of the Palestinian population, so they ought to quit the madness and be logical," said Hamas. "
