"Nablus – Ma'an – The Palestinian security services on Monday afternoon arrested Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) member from Hamas, Sheikh Ahmad Al Haj Ali, and two leaders of Hamas in Nablus, Ahmad Dawla and Shaker Amrah.
Eyewitnesses told Ma'an's reporter that the Palestinian Security Services arrested the three Hamas members by blockading their car with security services' vehicles, near Jamal Abed Al Nasser Park, west of Nablus, in the northern West Bank.
Sources from Hamas told Ma'an that the three arrested members were leaving a meeting with the Palestinian security services, held to discuss the security situation in the West Bank, when they were arrested.
Ahmad Dawla was undersecretary in the ministry of internal affairs in the Hamas government and Shaker Amrah is considered to be an outstanding Hamas leader."
