AMB: we will not allow a Karzai in Palestine

"GAZA, (PIC)-- The Aqsa Martyrs Brigades (AMB), the armed wing of Fatah has issued a statement in the West Bank calling for the head of the so called emergency government to resign because he called for disbanding resistance groups.

The AMB said in the statement: "We, at the Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, at a time while the Zionist enemy is killing our people and shedding their blood, were surprised at statements made by Salam Fayyad, head of the emergency government, in which he spoke ill of the Palestinian resistance."

"We have ignored statement he made to CNN when he said that resistance brought misery to the Palestinian people. We said [,at the time] that there could have been a mistake in translation or something of the sort, but [after that] the truth was clear about the man of America as he is the first Prime Minister who holds an American nationality," the AMB said.

The AMB asked Fayyad to appologise to the Palestinian people, to fallen heroes, to the wounded and the captives for insulting the people and their resistance.

The AMB praised a number of its prominent leaders who resigned their posts in the security forces and stressed that the resistance faction will not allow a "Karzai" in Palestine.

The AMB also said that its fighters will not stand idle while the Israeli occupation is killing Palestinians calling on its Gaza branch to fight in "the same trench" with other Palestinian factions active in resisting the occupation."
