Who told you that the US really cares about the Syrian people? It is the stupidity of the so-called Syrian "leaders," like the chosen Karzai, that perpetuates this myth.
The USraeli objective in Syria, like in Iraq before, is to have both sides destroy each other and in the process destroy the state. That objective is being accomplished, thanks to the stupidity of the people on the ground.
