COMMENT: It was a foregone conclusion that the permanent occupation "treaty" will pass. Why? Because Iran gave the nod to its puppets in the Green Zone to approve it. All the delays, "re negotiations," proposed popular referendum to approve it, etc. are shenanigans and cowardice to pass the buck and try to avoid blame while simultaneously signing approval on the dotted line.
This is what you would expect when you have a puppet "government" and "parliament" subservient simultaneously to Washington and Teheran, and protected by occupying U.S. Marines in the Green Zone. Just remember Ahmadinejad's visit to Maliki in the Green Zone; I am sure they were not discussing Iraqi sovereignty.
As I predicted and as I stated before, this is Teheran's love offering to the incoming Obama administration. Hey, what is over a million Iraqis killed? As Madeleine Albright would say, the price was worth it to improve relations between Washington and Tehran.
