a Cairo street and beaten by riot police has sparked outrage and intensified
calls for police reform, a key demand of the 2011 revolution that toppled
dictator Hosni Mubarak. With no change in a security culture that condoned
torture, President Mohamed Morsi is accused of relying on the same brutality as
his predecessors to crush dissent....."
