واعتبر أن "ما يجري اليوم من زيارات للوفود العربية والإسلامية والحرّة إلى غزة هو من تباشير النصر"،  وقال إن "غزة المحاصرة هي غزة الصامدة والثابتة، والتي لم تتنازل عن أي من الثوابت رغم العدوان والحصار"، مؤكدًا أن "مصر كانت في هذه المعركة شريكة في صناعة النصر، من خلال مواقفها التي أعلنها الرئيس محمد مرسي."[

"أكد رئيس الوزراء الفلسطيني إسماعيل هنية، أن الشرطة الفلسطينية بوزارة الداخلية والأمن الوطني قدمت نموذجًا مختلفًا عن باقي أجهزة الشرطة في العالم يقوم على الاحترام للمواطن والحب والالتزام والمسؤولية والقيام بالواجب على أكمل وجه.

وقال هنية في تصريح صحفي نشره موقع وزارة الداخلية، صباح الأحد (5-12): "هذا العمل هو الأول من نوعه لأن المواطن الفلسطيني لم يتعود على الشرطة الفلسطينية إلا شرطة تحمل هراوات وتلاحقهم كما يحدث في العديد من المناطق".

وأوضح هنية أن حملة "مواطن كريم يحميه شرطي حكيم" حققت أهداف طيبة، وتوقع أن تحقق أهدافها المرجوة في نهاية فعالياتها في السابع والعشرين من كانون أول (ديسمبر) الجاري.

وبين أن التقييم النهائي للحملة المستمرة طيلة خمسين يومًا سيكون مميزًا، وتابع: "هذه الحملة استطاعت أن توثق العلاقة مع المواطن الفلسطيني الذي قدم وجاهد وصبر وتحمل واحتضن هذه الحكومة لأن كرامة المواطن من كرامة الحكومة والعكس كذلك".

وأكد رئيس الوزراء أن "كرامة المواطن وهيبة الشرطي "حققت خطوة إيجابية، معربًا عن راحته ووزراء الحكومة كثيرًا للسلوك الذي تشرف عليه وزارة الداخلية والأمن الوطني في مثل هذه الحملة".

ونفى هنية أن تكون "حملة الكرامة والهيبة" مبتورة عن سياق حملات أخرى نفذت خلال الفترة الماضية.

ومضى يقول: "حملة "مواطن كريم وشرطي حكيم" جاءت في سياق حملة "مودة وتواصل" التي نظمتها حركة "حماس" قبيل عيد الأضحى المبارك لزيارة أكثر من 280 ألف منزل غزي، إضافة لزيارات العيد وزيارات تهنئة الحجاج العائدين من الأراضي الحجازية وتهنئتهم بأداء فريضة الحج لهذا العام".

واعتبر هنية جميع الحملات التي تنظمها الوزارات المختلفة في الحكومة "مترابطةً وتأتي في سياق موحد"، مشددًا على أن هذه الحملات ستستمر وتتواصل.

وتقدم هنية في ختام حديثه بالشكر الكبير لأبناء الشرطة الفلسطينية تقديرًا لهم على جهودهم وطالبهم بالمزيد، كما دعا المواطنين للتعاون الكامل مع أفراد الشرطة بما يحقق لهم الأمن والأمان.

"فاجأنا السيد اسماعيل هنية رئيس حكومة حركة 'حماس' في قطاع غزة بتصريحاته التي ادلى بها يوم امس وجدد فيها موافقته على قيام دولة فلسطينية على الاراضي التي احتلتها اسرائيل في حزيران (يونيو) عام 1967، مثلما فاجأتنا اكثر تأكيداته لمجموعة من الصحافيين الاجانب الذين زاروا قطاع غزة، ان حركة المقاومة الاسلامية ستقبل بعرض اي اتفاق تتوصل اليه السلطة في رام الله مع اسرائيل على استفتاء شعبي، وستلتزم بنتائجه حتى لو جاءت متعارضة مع قناعات حماس السياسية.
مصدر المفاجأة هو توقيت صدور هذه التصريحات، والرسالة المراد توصيلها من خلالها، وما يمكن ان يترتب عليها من انعكاسات سلبية على الحركة نفسها التي ينطق باسمها السيد هنية.
انها ليست المرة الاولى التي توافق فيها 'حماس' على قيام دولة فلسطينية ذات سيادة وعاصمتها القدس على الاراضي المحتلة عام 1967، ولكنها المرة الاولى التي تقبل فيها الحركة بإجراء استفتاء حول اي اتفاق تتوصل اليه سلطة رام الله.
فالسيد هنية لم يذكر ان هذه الدولة ستكون في اطار 'الهدنة' التي تعرضها حركة 'حماس' على الاسرائيليين والمحددة بفترة زمنية محددة اي عشرين او اربعين عاما، كما انه لم يؤكد على طرح حركته الذي يقول بتحرير الاراضي الفلسطينية من البحر الى النهر، اللهم الا اذا كانت الاخبار التي وزعتها وكالات الانباء الغربية جاءت مجتزأة، وهذا ممكن على اي حال.
والأهم من ذلك هو ثقة السيد هنية المطلقة بالسلطة في رام الله في التوصل الى اتفاق مرض للشعب الفلسطيني من خلال اسلوبها التفاوضي اولا، وعرض هذا الاتفاق على الشعب الفلسطيني في استفتاء شعبي نزيه. ثم اي شعب فلسطيني سيشارك في هذا الاستفتاء، هل هو الجزء المقيم منه في الضفة والقطاع فقط، ام المقيمون في المنافي ايضا ويمثلون النسبة الاكبر اي ما يعادل الثلثين؟ ثم ما هي آليات الاستفتاء في الحالة الثانية؟
تصريحات السيد هنية جاءت في زمن توقفت فيه المفاوضات، وانهارت العملية التفاوضية بالكامل، وتبخر حل الدولتين، وتراجعت الولايات المتحدة راعية العملية السلمية عن اي ضغط على حكومة اليمين الاسرائيلي المتطرف، بعد ان قوبلت جميع اغراءاتها وحوافزها واستجداءاتها بتجميد الاستيطان بالرفض المهين.
لا نعرف لماذا يتعجل السيد هنية وحركته بتقديم مثل هذه 'المرونة' في المكان الخطأ، ودون ان يطلب أحد ذلك، فهل هي رسالة للولايات المتحدة لفتح حوار مع الحركة، واعتمادها كخيار بديل للسلطة؟ ثم ما هو الفرق بين حركة 'حماس' والسلطة في هذه الحالة؟
ندرك صعوبة الاوضاع في قطاع غزة في ظل الحصار الخانق، مثلما ندرك التهديدات الاسرائيلية المستمرة باجتياح القطاع، ولكننا نعتقد ان هذه 'المرونة' ربما تعطي نتائج عكسية على الحركة وتأييدها في الشارع الفلسطيني، حتى لو كانت من قبيل التكتيك والمناورة السياسية.

Such a claim is based on Israeli propaganda and the deliberately distorted accounts of those in Gaza who are politically and ideologically opposed to the government of Ismail Haniya. It is true that some individuals in the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs have acted in an overzealous or misguided manner driven by their own concern to preserve what they see as the culture of the community but their actions were not done so on the basis of any governmental decision or a ministerial policy. In fact on a number of occasions the government directly intervened to reverse their misguided actions [when people said enough is enough!].

Palestinian society is inherently a conservative society [was never like this before Hamas' Talibanization], where the values that govern people's lives are mostly pure Islamic [Your definition of "pure"?]. The proper way to correct the kind of public behavior can be threaten those values should be addressed through the existing educational frameworks of the family and the mosque.

Unfortunately the combination of the Israeli misinformation campaign and to the misguided actions of a few overzealous individuals who see themselves as the guardians of public morality provides the Western media with the kind of stories that feed the common stereotypes they have of Islamists. Hamas is portrayed as being a fundamentalist and extremist movement that intends to launch an Islamic emirate in the Gaza Strip!......"

ادعت صحيفة "يديعوت احرونوت"، اليوم، إستناداً لمصادر وصفتها بالأميركية أن رئيس الحكومة الفلسطينية المقالة، اسماعيل، ان الإدارة الأميركية تجاهلت تماماً رسالتين من رئيس الحكومة الفلسطينية المقالة، اسماعيل هنية، تطرف فيها إلى الأوضاع السياسية الراهنة وافاق الحل.

وحسب مصادر الصحيفة الذين وصفتهم بالموظفين الكبار في الإدارة الأميركية فإن رهينة بعث برسالتين سياسيتين للرئيس الأميركي، باراك أوباما، بحثت "القضايا السياسية الإقليمية" وشملت مقترحات للحل والتسوية في الشرق الأوسط. وادعت الصحيفة ان هنية كتب في رسالته لأوباما إن حركة المقاومة الإسلامية (حماس) مستعدة بشروط معينة الإعتراف بحدود 1967، كجزء من تسوية إقليمية مرحلية تشمل وقف اطلاق النار بين اسرائيل والفلسطينيين.

وقالت المصادر ذاتها للصحيفة إنها ترى في الرسالتين محاولة اخرى للحركة لكسر العزلة الدولية المفروضة عليها، حسب تعبيرها، لكن دون جدوى. وأضافت أن أوباما لم يرد على الرسالتين ولم توضع الرسالتين على مكتبه ولم يطلع عليها، موضحة أن الحركة تعلم ان قبولها مطالب الرباعية الدولية شرط للتعامل معها.

This is outrageous and shows how Hamas deals with law and rights.

At first Hamas claimed that it was not holding political prisoners from Fatah. It maintained that those in prison are held on criminal charges.

If that is the case, how can Habila on his own, decide to release 20 "criminals" just to show his "generosity" to visiting Arab "parliamentarians"?

Haneyya calls for devising Arab strategy to restore Palestinian rights

"GAZA, (PIC)-- Ismail Haneyya, the PA premier in Gaza Strip, has called for the formulation of a pan-Arab strategy that would restore Arab rights in general and Palestinian rights in particular. [COMMENT: Is this man for real? He sounds like a voice from 1909, not 2009.]

He said during a meeting with a Jordanian medical delegation on Wednesday that such a strategy should be adopted to confront the Israeli occupation's schemes and its procrastination and the American administration's bias in favor of occupation.

Haneyya said that his government and his Hamas Movement rejects the notion of the alternative homeland, stressing the importance of security and stability in all Arab countries especially Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Yemen in view of its positive reflection on the Palestine cause.
