Guardian Video: Mecca: aftermath of hajj pilgrimage crush
A producer from Al Jazeera Plus, Ethar El-Katatney, surveys the neighbourhood of Mina outside the holy city of Mecca, where a stampede during the hajj pilgrimage has killed at least 453 people and injured more than 700. The Mina valley is where pilgrims stay for several days during the climax of the pilgrimage in a camp city of 160,000 tents. This is the worst accident during the pilgrimage since 1990
