Al-Jazeera Video: Iraq security walls stand firm
"As Berlin Wall's fall is celebrated, many Iraqi cities have walls of their own.
Security has become the chief concern for Iraq as the country approaches upcoming national elections in January 2010.
On the streets of many Iraqi cities, the presence of huge concrete blast walls serves as grim reminders to continued instability.
Some Iraqis say the walls are ineffective and have called for them to be taken down, but a wave of recent bombings has proven that taking such a step might be too premature.
Al-Jazeera's Omar Al-Saleh reports from the Iraqi city of Samara."
