Al Aqsa Brigades abandon armed struggle against Israel

"Jenin – Ma'an – The prominent Jenin-based leader of the Fatah-affiliated Al-Aqsa Brigades Zakaria Zubeidi on Sunday announced, "The Al-Aqsa Brigades activists have signed a pledge to cease attacks against Israel."

"Al-Aqsa Brigades won't be an obstacle to any political project aimed at solving the Palestinian question," Zubeidi emphasized.

In a telephone call to Ma'an, Zubeidi added that the brigades' combatants, whose names were included in the amnesty list, have committed to stay at the Palestinian security HQs, waiting for the ongoing political and administrative processes which will guarantee their freedom.

Israeli authorities yesterday announced an amnesty for some 178 "wanted" Al Aqsa Brigades' members, affiliated to President Abbas' Fatah faction."

While abandoning armed struggle against Israel, the new Lahd army (formerly Al Aqsa Brigades), under the leadership of the Palestinian Karzai, will intensify armed struggle against the Palestinian resistance. How dare these bastards call themselves Palestinians?
