Hamas: Palestinian resistance forced the IOF troops to retreat from Abasan
This is an example of empty and deceptive rhetoric by Hamas. It very much reminds me of the rhetoric of the defeated Arab leaders of the past. Nasser used to brag about advances against Israel, while his troops were retreating (running!) in the Sinai. He used to talk about imaginary battles by the Egyptian air force when in reality his air force was destroyed on the ground.
Another practitioner of this art of deception was Arafat; for him every defeat was turned into a "victory." From his "victories" in Jordan, to Lebanon until his final "victory" of Oslo. I wonder if he could turn his poisoning and death at the hands of the Mossad into his ultimate "victory."
Enough of all of this empty and useless rhetoric. The people are sick of all of this and are not buying it any longer. The people, however, are willing to offer their enthusiastic support for a new caliber of leadership; leaders such as Nasrallah and a movement like Hizbullah. They proved their mettle by acts and not words. Until Hamas can deliver results, all the talk and bravado will remain empty.

"KHAN YOUNIS, (PIC)-- Hamas confirmed that the Palestinian resistance, spearheaded by the Qassam Brigades, forced the IOF troops to retreat, after they invaded the Abasan area at dawn Tuesday and committed a massacre, where seven Palestinians were killed during the clashes.
In a statement received by the PIC, the Brigades stated that the resistance "inflicted injuries and casualties in the ranks of the Israeli invaders and their military mechanisms, reconfirming its adherence to the option of resistance as an inalienable strategy for the attainment of freedom and independence......"
