Powerful explosion shakes Junaid Prison in Nablus
"Nablus – Ma'an – A fierce explosion rocked Junaid Prison, west of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, on Tuesday night.
Palestinian security sources revealed that two powerful bombing devices were planted in front of the eastern entrance to the prison.
One of the devices detonated, causing vast damage, but no casualties were reported. The second device did not explode and is currently being investigated by bomb experts.
Security sources informed Ma'an's correspondent in Nablus that that they are investigating the issue.
Security personnel have imposed a siege in the area, and prohibited vehicles and pedestrians from entering the closed zone. "
