Barghouthi: Return to negotiations wrong step
"RAMALLAH, (PIC)-- Dr. Mustafa Al-Barghouthi, the head of the national Mubadara (Initiative) party, has described PA chief Mahmoud Abbas's decision to resume negotiations with the Hebrew state as "wrong" and provides a political cover for Israel's aggression on the Palestinian people.
Barghouthi in a statement to Quds Press on Sunday asked the PA leadership not to return to negotiations with the Israeli occupation authority unless it met three conditions: halting aggression and siege on Gaza, stopping construction of separation wall and ending all colonialist activity.
"There is no meaning for any negotiations in the light of the continued settlement activity, which doubled 11 times compared to three years ago, and in the light of the increasing numbers of roadblocks and continuing siege," he said."
