Despite UN Resolution, Israel Resumes Killing More Civilians

"09/01/2009 To hide its failure in the Gaza Strip and in a bid not to lose the whole image of its so-called “unbeatable army”, Israel on Friday carried on heavy attacks in the Strip after the UN Security Council passed a resolution calling for an immediate end to the Israeli aggression.

Israeli staged more than 50 air strikes which Palestinian emergency services said killed at least 25 civilians....

Palestinian medics say almost 800 people have been killed, including more than 260 children, since the Israeli aggression launched against the Strip on Dec.27 and there were over 3200 wounded.

Residents of Gaza City said that Israel Air Force warplanes dropped bombs on the outskirts of the city and other Gazans reported shelling by the Israeli Navy.

Seven Palestinians from one family, including an infant, were killed early today, the 14th day of the conflict in Gaza, when Israeli jets bombed a five-storey building in Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza. There was heavy aerial bombing on the outskirts of Gaza City, and Israeli naval ships shelled Deir el-Balah, in central Gaza....."
